Sign In

A registered user can sign in cTrack website by clicking on ‘Sign In’ link on the index page of the website with the registered email id and password. After verifying the credentials, the user will be allowed to access cTrack website and is redirected to ‘Country Selection’ page.

User can request for password reset by clicking on ‘Forgot Password?’ link on the sign in box using the registered email id. A mail is sent to the registered email id with the subject 'Your cTrack password'. This mail contains a password change link. This link expires in 3 days.

A non-registered website user can send mail to the cTrack administrator by clicking on ‘Contact’ link on the index page of the website. cTrack website user can send a mail to the administrator by filling required details such as name, email id, mobile no., address and a message. After clicking on ‘Submit’, a mail is sent.

Country Selection
Select Country

After credential verification, a user is redirected to ‘Country Selection’ page. All the countries that are monitored are displayed on this page. Only the subscribed countries (for which user has access to) are enabled i.e. available for selection to run the reports.

‘Notifications’ link at top right corner can be used to see the general notifications from the cTrack administrator. If a new notification is available, the link blinks until user clicks on it. The special notifications for the signed in user are displayed at the bottom of the country icons.

Home Page

After selection of a country, a user is transferred to this page. For the first seven days of a month, this page shows last month’s summary. For the rest of the month, the default content of this page is summary of latest released data. However, at the top left of the page you have links to toggle between these two views. The data displayed on the page can be downloaded in pdf or excel format.

Data

This menu lists all the data related reports such as spots summary, list of advertisers, top advertisers, etc. It also has ‘Telecast Certificate’, that allows user to create a third party certificate as a proof of a spot’s telecast on the channel. The receiver of this certificate can verify it on the website’s index page using ‘Verify Certificate’ link or using mobile application.

For all the reports a feature to set default (Set as Default) for the parameters such as channel, category, advertiser, and brand that is available on the selection panel. The report will open with the default setting values of these parameters (wherever exists) every time till the user change it.

Spots Summary

This report displays all the advertisements broadcasted for the selected date range based on the selection of channel/s, category, advertiser and a brand. An option to list advertisements of only prime time is also provided.

Telecast Certificates

All the advertisements broadcasted are listed for the selected date range based on the selection of channel/s and advertiser. User can generate the certificate by selecting a spot/s and clicking on ‘Generate’ button. To download the certificate (in pdf format) of telecast, user has to click on the unique number in the column ‘View Certificate’.

This report displays the top advertisers based on total spots or seconds for the selected duration and channel/s. All the advertisers of the selected channels with their combined spend of spots and seconds are displayed. If more than one channel is selected, an individual channel’s top 10 advertisers are also displayed. The data displayed can be downloaded either in pdf or excel format.

This report lists the list of advertisers that did not advertise on the selected channel for the selected duration in the previous 6 months. 6 months is a default value and can be changed from My Accounts – Settings – New business signed.

A user can list the advertisers for the selected channel and duration. Their status on the other subscribed channels is also displayed with spots and seconds for the selection. The data displayed can be downloaded either in pdf or excel format.

Analytics

This menu lists all the analytical reports such as missing advertisers, channel profile, advertiser profile, competitive activity, brand spend, monthly summary, quarterly summary, advertiser strength, day-part analysis, etc.

Missing Advertisers

This report lists the advertisers who have not advertised on selected channel for a selected duration. It lists the overall % share and no. of spots/total seconds of those advertisers on other channels. There is an option to get the spot-wise and second-wise % share for those advertisers on all the subscribed channels. A user can list the data for the selected channels and duration based on their subscription.

A column value % share of an advertiser is calculated as the total spots/seconds of an advertiser on all the subscribed channels with respect to the total advertising spots/seconds (of all the advertisers) for the selected period.

Spot/second-wise % share of an advertiser on a particular channel is nothing but the spots/seconds of that advertiser with respect to total spots/seconds (combined) of the advertiser on all the subscribed channels.

The data displayed can be downloaded either in pdf or excel format.

Channel profile

This report gives overall profile of a channel. It displays the list of advertisers with their spots, along with its cumulative spots and whether the advertiser is exclusive to the channel or not seconds for the selected channel and duration.

Second table contains the displays the list of exclusive advertisers and % share of business from them.

Followed by benchmarks categorized as ‘Skew’ (% share of top 5, 10 and 15 clients on each channel), channel-wise share of exclusive advertisers.

The next table displays hourly average advertising seconds and % seconds for the selected channel.

Followed by, a list of new business signed advertisers (advertisers that did not advertise on the selected channel for the selected duration in the previous 6 months - 6 months is default value if required user can change from My Accounts – Settings – New business signed ) by the selected channel for the selected duration. The next table contains share of new business signed by each subscribed channel.

The last table has the information about distribution of spots by seconds (multiple of 5 sec +/- 1) for all the channels.

Brand Spend

This report lists the total spots of a selected brand for a selected period on all the selected channels. It also displays scatter chart for the selected brand’s spot position every day during the selected period on all the selected channels. By default data for day’s top advertiser or default selection that has been set by the user is displayed. Hourly count of spots or seconds is also displayed for the selection. The data displayed can be downloaded either in pdf or excel format. This report can also be mailed (in pdf attachment) to the email ids created in the user’s address book.

Quarterly Summary

This report displays selected quarter’s summary. The quarter is defined Jan-Mar as first, Apr-Jun as second, Jul-Sept as third and Oct-Dec as fourth quarter. This report displays advertising trend, average per day, top 25 advertisers, top 10 industries, no. of unique advertisers and approximate spend comparison of the other quarters with respect to the selected quarters. The data can be displayed based on of spots or seconds.

Manage Users

Your account is set up for the number of users that had requested in your order. By default the first user (initially the Administrator) that was created, when the account was set up, has the administrative privileges. Only the Administrator can do the following:

  1. Add new users (subject to a maximum of number of users approved for the account.)
  2. Edit details of/Delete the user
  3. Appoint a new administrator

Only administrator of a company has access to the entire users list. Normal user can update own details. Administrator can create new users (limited to the number of allowed users), delete users, edit details of existing users, send invite mail to existing users, change administrator.

Manage Address Book

The address book is used for emailing reports and managing addresses. The addresses added in the address book by all the users are visible to the administrator of a company. A users can add new, update and delete their existing contacts.

Automate

Administrator can configure a schedule that periodically mail a set of desired reports (currently only Spot summary) to the contacts that exist in the address book. As an example you can automate emailing to your clients a weekly summary of their advertisements released.

New reports to be mailed can be configured as well as already configured reports can be altered by selecting from the table.

End of the Day

The default setting for the end of day in this application is midnight Eastern Time for US, GMT for UK, EAST for SEA, and so on. User can set it to any of the time zones that are added for a country.

You can produce Spots-Summary record for whole day/days, or just for prime time. You can define your own definition for prime-time settings for this application. As an example, you may like to define prime-time as 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The default setting for prime-time is 19:00:00 to 23:00:00 (ET).
